Exploring the Conspiracies Surrounding our Water

There's the belief that our drinking water contains dangerous levels or arsenic and the fluoride conspiracy dates back to WWII and the Nazi regime. With our bottled drinking water there are claims that it's not regulated as well as the water that comes out of our faucets...that it may be unsafe and with the salination and depletion of the aquifers, we may be in for a national water crisis.

It's been reported that George W. Bush has recently purchased a 98,842 acre farm in Northern Paraguay. The land in Northern Paraguay sits atop Guarani Aquifer, a large fresh-water reserve. Is he buying this land as an investment much as his forefathers invested in oil? Is water going to be our most precious and valuable commodity? Recent actions by the Bush administration show more concern about protecting corporate polluters than protecting public health. The administration is campaigning to hobble existing laws, thwart efforts to strengthen current pollution standards and cut funds for programs that protect tap water.

As we become more and more dependent on bottled water, we can only imagine the hidden deals for the future of our water supply. Before its too late, lets investigate and protect our right to clean water.
